Bishop Willigers Secondary School has more than 1,100 students, but its ICT room cannot yet provide reliable digital learning. Unstable electricity, no adequate solar power or lightning protection, limited internet connectivity and too few computers are major barriers. With A-Level teaching now underway, students urgently need dependable access to ICT to develop the digital skills essential for further education and employment.
REVS will create a reliable, sustainable ICT learning environment by putting the essential infrastructure in place: solar power and inverters, lightning protection, a solar-powered router and internet connection. We will then provide laptops and other essential equipment, enabling students and teachers to use ICT regularly for learning, research and practical skills.
