We are raising funds to provide a safe space for people experiencing homelessness throughout the winter. Our drop-in opens 7 days a week for people who are homeless and provides freshly-cooked meals, showers, laundry and individual support to help people take steps towards independence and stability

At least 30 people sleep rough in Canterbury each night, and more than 500 people come to Catching Lives every year for support. For people who are homeless, it is difficult to access consistent and trusted warm spaces in the winter, where they can receive essential facilities and support to prevent or end their homelessness. People sleeping rough often face extra challenges to their mental and physical health, which are heightened during the winter without access to the right provisions.
Catching Lives is the only homelessness day centre in East Kent, and is open 7 days a week to provide a safe, warm space for adults experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. We offer cooked meals, showers and laundry alongside tailored one-to-one support to improve people's housing, health and social connection. Throughout the colder months, we will meet immediate needs and provide consistent support to help people achieve positive changes through the winter and beyond.
