We support people in the local area with emergency food and, more importantly, access to the means for resolving poverty issues through financial inclusion services. There is great support from local churches and schools but we still need cash to buy food and open the doors to our welcoming sessions

The immediate need is resolved by providing emergency food parcels in a welcoming environment. Our guests typically need emergency food for only a few weeks to cover critical life events. Our financial inclusion services help our guests gain access (if appropriate) to benefits and other entitlements that they may be missing out from. We can also signpost to other community groups. A combination of food parcels and advice is often enough to prevent our guests needing to return after this period.
