Peer Power Youth is a youth led charity that works with young people aged 10–25 who have experienced trauma, including abuse, neglect, exclusion, and injustice. We are raising funds for our employability-readiness project so that YP with childhood trauma can still realise and follow their dreams.

Young people (YP) with childhood trauma and lived experience of youth justice and care services are among the most under supported. Services designed to support young people are built on control, disconnection and risk. They are siloed, reactive and hard to access. We want to support youth-led change, building trusting relationships and delivering empathy-led training and coaching.

We strengthen young people's personal and professional development, improve their well-being and employability prospects and provide them with leadership opportunities and community building activities. Through the latter, we work with young people to influence the youth services they were once in for the benefit of other peers by co-producing and co-delivering training to professionals to embed empathy led practice.
