We’re raising funds to replace the worn floor in Artizan’s Harrogate café, a welcoming training space where disabled and neurodivergent adults build confidence, workplace skills and social connections. A safer, accessible floor will help everyone take part fully.

Artizan’s cafe is a busy public facing space where disabled & neurodivergent adults gain real working experience & are part of everyday community life. For many members it is a crucial place to grow in confidence & be known for what they contribute. The floor is now badly worn, leaving the café looking tired and uncared for. That lets down a space which plays an important role in helping Harrogate & the widert community see & value disabled people as equal members of the community.

We will replace the worn café floor with safe, hard wearing flooring designed for a busy, accessible public space. This will create a more secure and welcoming environment for members as they build confidence and gain experience alongside our café team. It will also give customers a space that feels cared for, helping the café continue as a place where our members & the wider community can connect and belong.

One of our members doing brilliantly with his barista skills! supported by our wonderful volunteers
