Royal Navy children face particular challenges, linked to their parents' service such as disrupted education, long separations. They also face disability, illness, poverty and other difficulties, particularly where there are special educational needs or family poverty/debt/hardship. Need can be complex and linked to being part of a Naval family.

We run several programmes of support: Emergency & Essentials for families facing crisis; Health for complex long-term needs including neurodiversity; Life Chances to provide development opportunities including educational university bursaries; Wellbeing to combat the impact of long separations, bereavement and mental health issues; Caseworking to provide specialist support across all areas of need, with specialists in key areas around the UK.
