Families of disabled children across north east Scotland often cannot afford the specialist equipment, therapies and adaptions their children need. Many items are unavailable through statutory funding or involve long waiting lists, leaving children unable to reach their full potential. GEF helps to improve children's independence, wellbeing, inclusion and quality of life while reducing pressure on families.

We will provide timely funding for specialist equipment, therapies and services tailored to each child's needs. We identify families most in need through schools and local authority referrals, and deliver practical, life changing support. By removing financial barriers, we improve children's independence, wellbeing and inclusion while reducing pressure on parents and carers.
