Children and young people with disabilities and complex needs often have limited mobility and can be confined to wheelchairs, affecting their physical, emotional, social and psychological wellbeing. Access to specialist therapy, particularly hydrotherapy, is limited, with many families facing long journeys, waiting lists or no local provision. Without regular support, children miss opportunities to improve mobility, reduce pain, build confidence and achieve greater independence.

Rainbow Hub exists to help children with disabilities become more active and independent - we already provide specialist therapy, education and family support. Building an accessible hydrotherapy pool will enable us to expand these services, giving more children access to life-changing therapy in a safe, familiar environment. The warm-water setting will improve mobility, reduce pain, build confidence and help children develop skills that support greater independence - all whilst having fun!
