Greenfingers Charity is dedicated to creating specialist sensory/therapy gardens for life-limited children with complex needs in hospices UK-wide. We provide vital respite for seriously ill children, offering tranquil, stimulating environments where children experience joy, wonder and a sense of normalcy, benefiting from a connection with nature to improve wellbeing/mental health. Sustainability is at the heart of our garden designs as lasting legacies bringing therapeutic benefit today/tomorrow.
Due to increasing financial pressures on hospices, for many the burden of upkeep of gardens we've created has become overwhelming. It's inevitable constant use/wear-and-tear impacts the gardens which over time need upgrade/enhancement to ensure they’re safe, planting is refreshed/replaced and plans for future sustainability/longevity are put in place to maximise therapeutic benefit. To address this, we are introducing a Garden Revitalisation Program to run throughout 2026/27 and beyond.
