We Are Family is a peer support community by adopters, for adopters. We're raising funds to ensure more adoptive families can access vital peer support. Donations help us provide expert training for our volunteers, cover the costs of our peer support groups, and keep our Member Hub available to all.

A lot of adoptive families are managing things most people never see. Help can take months to arrive, leaving many parents feeling isolated and carrying the weight alone. Without targeted peer support, the pressures of adoption can affect parents' wellbeing, family relationships, and children's mental health. Too often, there is nowhere they can meet others who truly understand what they're going through. We Are Family exists so adoptive families don't have to face those challenges on their own.

We will bring adoptive families together through free peer support, led by adopters who understand their experiences. We will support local groups to create welcoming spaces where parents can connect, children can make friends, and no one feels alone. Funding will help cover volunteer training and support, venue hire, activities, travel and promotion through our Member Hub. We will provide safeguarding and guidance so every group is safe, welcoming and easy to join.
