Loneliness and poor mental health affect many people in Barnsley. Reminiscent Reds supports older adults who feel cut off from their community. Team Talk helps men who struggle in silence. Our wider work shows that 94.8% of participants report reduced loneliness and 100% of Team Talk participants improve their mental wellbeing. People need connection, confidence and support.
We will expand Reminiscent Reds so more older adults can meet, talk and feel part of their community. We will strengthen Team Talk so more men can improve their wellbeing in a safe and supportive space. We will build on our proven impact where 79.3% of participants report improved physical health and wellbeing. We will help people feel valued, supported and connected again.
