Domestic abuse does not end when someone reaches safety. Many survivors and children are left with trauma, isolation, low confidence, legal worries and practical hardship. In Stoke-on-Trent need is acute, with 12,500 women reporting domestic abuse last year, while many more never report it. Without long-term recovery support, families can be left to rebuild alone.
Glow’s Recovery Hub will provide a safe, survivor-led space offering accredited recovery programmes, wellbeing activities, peer support, legal advice, counselling pathways, volunteering opportunities and practical help. Support is shaped around each survivor, with no time limit, helping women and children rebuild confidence, independence and safe, hopeful futures.
