Happy Days' services are essential and face high winter demand: hot meals for up to 100 people per day who would not otherwise eat; shelter for people sleeping rough in the coldest months; lifesaving accessible healthcare clinics; food support; and advocacy for people struggling to cope.

We are working with people with multiple deprivations, who are experiencing systemic exclusion from housing, healthcare and benefits. The barriers to care and support we see in our service members include: poor mental and physical health; complex trauma; dual diagnosis; digital exclusion; mistrust of (and by) officials; hidden housing needs; and short-term solutions that aren’t suited to the individual’s needs.
We break down these barriers by providing a safe and nurturing environment, with access to support and services from partner organisations on a no-appointment basis. We offer trauma-informed advocacy and flexible, person-centred care that extends outside the building. Alongside each of our frontline services, we build relationships and networks that will sustain each service member through a long-term journey towards independence and better quality of life.
