Rising living costs mean many Orthodox Jewish families struggle to afford food and essential household items, especially during winter when heating and other expenses increase. Families with loved ones in hospital face added emotional and financial pressures, while older people and unpaid carers are at greater risk of isolation and hardship. No one should have to choose between putting food on the table, staying warm or supporting a loved one at Christmas.

Ozer Umagen will provide emergency kosher food parcels, supermarket vouchers, hospital CareKits and welcoming respite rooms for families supporting loved ones in hospital. Working with hospitals, community partners and volunteers, we will identify those most in need and deliver practical support that reduces financial pressure, eases isolation and ensures vulnerable families experience dignity, comfort and hope throughout the Christmas season.
