The loss of a baby is a deeply traumatic experience. Baby loss grief can be profoundly isolating, as family, friends and the wider community may struggle to understand its emotional and psychological impact. Many bereaved parents experience intense feelings of anxiety, depression and trauma while trying to navigate life after such a devastating loss. Those parents deserve professional support but often face long NHS waiting lists or cannot afford to pay for counselling themselves.
We will provide 12 weekly counselling sessions for bereaved parents. Our counselling programme is open to all parents across the UK and provides psychological support from qualified counsellors who are accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). All our counsellors have specialist understanding of the emotional and psychological impact of losing a baby and how to support parents with complex grief and post-traumatic stress disorder.
