Millions of people across East Africa remain trapped in chronic poverty, excluded from opportunities to improve their lives. Those living with disabilities, albinism, epilepsy and HIV face misunderstanding, discrimination and denial of their rights, leaving them isolated and lacking hope for the future. Climate shocks (including recent floods in our partner communities), aid cuts and the rising cost of living have hit these families hardest, pushing them deeper into poverty and hunger.
We will partner with trusted local organisations to help the most vulnerable children, women and men in East Africa to overcome poverty, discrimination and exclusion. Together, we will provide inclusive education, epilepsy medication, healthcare, livelihood opportunities and advocacy to protect the rights of people living with disabilities, albinism, epilepsy and HIV. By building confidence, skills and opportunity, we will enable people to become self-reliant, realise their potential and thrive.
