Access to expert knowledge is still limited, with much academic insight locked behind paywalls or inaccessible formats. This leaves many people relying on unreliable sources. Gresham College provides free lectures from leading academics, reaching millions globally. However, without further investment in outreach and digital production, underserved audiences risk being excluded from high-quality, trustworthy education.

Gresham College's work produces a level playing field for academic engagement, removing barriers, allowing all to take part and learn at their own pace. Expanding on Sir Thomas' vision, we now have more than 7.5 million YouTube views every year, while our in-person events are regularly oversubscribed. Over the coming year we will be seeking to expand our work - taking lectures to new locations, enhancing accessibility and improving our schools outreach.
