Too many families are unable to afford the basics, let alone a joyful Christmas. Around 45% of children in Hackney live in poverty, with large families facing some of the highest rates of hardship. Many parents are forced to choose between food, heating and gifts, leaving children feeling excluded during the festive season.
FeedMe will support 100 nominated families with five or more children aged 4–10 by providing a surplus food parcel and a gift voucher to help parents buy gifts or essential items, bringing dignity, choice and festive joy to their children, family, and community.
