Dancers must possess versatility, technical excellence and extensive performance experience to excel in the highly competitive performing arts industry. Whilst Central’s world-class training has long held an industry-wide reputation for creating dancers who personify these skills, we are constantly striving to ensure that we are able to provide the additional opportunities needed to amplify these skillsets to best prepare our undergraduate students to launch their careers.

Central’s degree in Professional Dance and Performance is no ordinary degree programme. It is specialist conservatoire dance training enhanced by a wealth of performance opportunities, strength and conditioning and contextual studies. We enrich student’s experience with innovative opportunities to deepen their skillsets, ensuring that Central graduates leave us industry-ready and equipped with the skills and tools that they need to meet the current and future rigours of the dance industry.
