We are expanding our work to reach more women with our transformational employability support. Each year we work with marginalised women to build confidence and skills to find their place in the world of work. These funds will enable us to grow and to offer even more programmes in the coming year.

LoveWell developed in response to women who face multiple barriers to employment and complex trauma from sexual exploitation, trafficking and DA. As more women experience financial hardship from the sharp rise in the cost of living, many are finding informal and insecure employment will not support them and their families. With intensifying gender-based violence, women find themselves caught in cycles of poverty and discrimination that are complicated to break.
Our programmes combine confidence-building, practical support and mentoring in a safe and secure environment. We know that long-term, sustained support raises women’s aspirations, enabling them to flourish. Our programme combines 6 months of employability training with 12 months of mentoring in a supportive and secure environment. It is this combination that enables longer-term, transformative support. 60% of the women who complete our programmes are in employment within 12 months.
