Domestic abuse affects people of all ages, backgrounds and genders, yet many suffer in silence. The period leading up to Christmas often brings increased financial pressures, isolation and family tensions, contributing to rising demand for support. Many people still do not recognise abuse, know where to turn, or feel able to seek help. We provide a safe, confidential first point of contact, helping people access the right support before abuse escalates.
We will deliver a targeted awareness and fundraising campaign during the 16 Days of Activism and Christmas Challenge to ensure more people know where to turn for support. Alongside our confidential helpline, we will expand digital engagement, share information on recognising abuse, and connect people with appropriate local services. By increasing visibility at a time of heightened risk, we can help more people access support earlier and improve their safety and wellbeing.
