Autistic girls and women are routinely missed, misunderstood and let down. Autism has long been seen through a male lens, so girls are identified later than boys, if at all, and an estimated 80 per cent remain undiagnosed at 18. There are over 254,000 people on the waiting list for an autism assessment – women and girls heavily over-represented. Without support, many reach crisis, at risk of anxiety, self-harm and school exclusion. They grow up ashamed of who they are. We exist to change that.

We are the only national charity working solely with and for autistic girls and women, designed and delivered by neurodivergent women. We run around 20 fortnightly peer support groups across England and Scotland for girls aged 9 to 25, provide post-diagnostic mentoring, and re-engage young people currently out of mainstream education through The Haven, our online school. We support autistic adult women, train professionals, and reach an online community of over 35,000 families across the UK.
