Leeds is a vibrant city; however, for too many children, daily life is shaped not by opportunity, but by poverty, neglect or instability. Currently, over 36,000 children live in low-income households, with rates above the national average. Many carry responsibilities beyond their years, go without basic necessities, and struggle to see a future beyond day-to-day survival. We exist to give children facing the toughest challenges the chance to breathe, play and believe in brighter futures.
We give young people the chance to step away from the daily pressures they face and experience safety, play and learning in a supportive, nurturing environment. At Lineham Farm, our residential breaks provide structured outdoor activities and adventures that help children realise and unlock their potential. These first-time experiences build confidence, resilience and self-belief, improve wellbeing, and ensure disadvantage does not limit access to life-changing opportunities for our community.
