Sharks, skates and rays are vital for a healthy ocean. However, after decades of growing pressure from overfishing, habitat loss and weak protection, over 1/3 of 1,199 species are threatened with extinction. Without urgent, sustained conservation work, more species will decline and be pushed to the brink!
