1m young people in the UK aged 16-24 are classed as NEET, with many ill equipped to meet the demands of a professional workplace and/or unaware of career pathways. LTSB research shows: 68% of young people from lower socioeconomic backgrounds reported receiving no useful careers advice at school. 100% said they'd have benefitted from structured support to make informed choices, especially around alternatives to university. 84% of young people aged 13-15 have never visited a professional office.

FutureYOU provides proven, high quality enrichment activities & workplace experiences delivered by trusted adults that support young people’s social, personal & educational development. It covers 2 of the framework areas in the Government’s new ‘Every Child Can’ strategy: Key life skills: such as planning, organisation, problem-solving, creativity & leadership. Future pathways: exposure to diverse activities to broaden young people’s horizons, raise aspirations & inform future choices.
