As families face rising financial strain, we work with families facing the worst of Oxford’s deep inequality. We offer mentoring, tutoring, school partnerships, parent support, youth‑led grants, and more - so that every child, no matter their start in life, has the chance to achieve their potential.

Oxford is top 3 for inequality UK-wide. This hurts childhoods and kid’s futures: Oxford children on Free School Meals are 20% less likely than peers to reach reading and maths targets, and under half as likely to go to uni. Kids in poverty are more likely to have Special Educational Needs; Adverse Childhood Experiences e.g. grief, instability; to be referred to CAMHS; and 4.5x as likely to be referred to Social Services. Kids aged 5-15 face a support gap between Early Years and youth services.

Our early-intervention support helps children (focused on ages 5–15) to thrive, breaking cycles of disadvantage. In a year, we: Mentor 55 children with Adverse Childhood Experiences, helping children build emotional resilience and stability. Tutor 100+ learners, building confidence, aspirations, and attainment. Connect 10 Oxford University colleges with 10 local schools for free extracurriculars for 1500+ pupils. Equip 300+ parents to navigate challenges with 1:1 and group parent peer support.
