Homelessness in Croydon is a significant issue, with people at risk of homelessness also likely to face social isolation or other forms of deprivation. Croydon has the second highest number of rough-sleepers in Outer London. 469 were recorded rough-sleeping in 2025 an increase of 190% in a decade. However, Croydon was one of four London boroughs without a night shelter. We support people from the crisis of rough-sleeping to re-build their support networks and sustainable routes off the streets.
Our community-led shelter works with Croydon Council, Outreach teams, faith and community organisations to provide: - Communal, safe space for 20 men/ women,18+ - Avoided rough-sleeping - Nutritious hot meals, breakfast & snacks - Showers & toiletries - Personalised support, help to access community networks - Housing & homelessness support - Referral to physical/mental health, drug & alcohol services - Support to access volunteer, work and training opportunities - Social connection
