The UK’s poverty crisis is deepening, robbing 14.2 million people of hope and dignity. Of these, 4.5 million are children. Debt and poverty force people into impossible options: heat your home or feed your kids? Pay your rent or council tax? This pressure destroys people’s wellbeing: 86% of our clients lost sleep over debt, 51% were afraid to leave their home, and, tragically, 46% considered or attempted suicide as a way out of debt before seeking help.
