Disadvantaged children and young people face multiple barriers that limit their opportunities. Children with SEND are significantly less likely to participate in sport, the attainment gap continues to widen, many talented young athletes are priced out of progressing, and almost 900,000 young people aged 16–24 are not in education, employment or training. Without targeted support, these inequalities continue to affect health, education, confidence and future prospects.
Through four targeted sport and education programmes, we create opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people to reach their potential. We deliver inclusive sport, educational support, career training and support for talented young athletes in partnership with schools, community organisations and sports clubs. By providing regular activities, mentoring and tailored support, we help young people improve their wellbeing, confidence, skills and future opportunities.
