ForWomen CIC tackles loneliness and isolation among minority refugee women, many carrying experiences of trauma, relational difficulty, chronic stress, and disconnection from their own strength and worth. Mainstream mental health provision does not reach these women. Services are expensive, too clinical in presentation, too removed from their daily lives/communities. This project meets them where they already are inside a community they trust and brings specialist therapy directly to them.
Power to Live Foundation is a UK mental health charity providing specialist relational psychotherapy to underserved populations. Our clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based relational and behavioural strategies particularly suited to helping women build psychological flexibility, relational safety, and connection to their own values and strengths.
