Poverty, ethnicity, disability, and postcode continue to prevent equal access to arts and culture. Opportunities in schools are reduced, private lessons remain expensive, and inequality continues with the rising cost of living. Now more than ever, young people need relevant affordable access to the arts, where they can connect, develop skills, and have fun in a safe, accessible space.
Our accessible Arts Programme provides positive, relevant, uplifting activities for young people to explore their creativity and cultural identity, regardless of background or ability. From our HQ and safe spaces across London, it empowers young people to unlock their potential, tackle important social issues, make positive choices and build transferable skills. We target young people experiencing barriers to access, for whom we provide vital social connectivity and invaluable skill development.
