We are addressing the problem of mental health and wellbeing in local families facing severe cost-of-living challenges. These issues lead to stress, poor family relationships, and children's behavioural problems. By providing essential support during school holidays, we aim to reduce these stresses, improve parenting skills, and enhance children's mental health and overall family wellbeing.
Our aims to to deliver targeted support during school holidays, a critical time for local families. We will provide assistance with behaviour and relationship issues, emergency payments for essential needs like food and heating, and improve parenting skills. This whole-family approach reduces stress, enhances mental health and wellbeing, and strengthens family relationships, directly benefiting children’s mental health.
