We are raising funds to support our world class chamber music festival which includes 9 public concerts annually, and an education programme in six local primary schools, through which we provide the key skills of creativity, singing and performance opportunities for up to 200 local children.

In recent years, the music education provision in state primary schools has reduced, and we have developed partnerships with six local schools to partially redress this through a two month programme of workshops and engagement. We know that music education equips children with key skills which we offer through our work. There are also limited opportunities locally to hear chamber music at this level nearby and we offer accessible inspiring performances to improve the cultural offering in Rother.
We will continue to plan and curate an annual programme of concerts; we will also create an inspiring music education programme to support children in local primary schools each year. We will arrange for experience workshop leaders and professional musicians to lead these workshops. Each will result in a newly composed song, which children will perform with professionals. The work for this begins each Autumn, inviting artists and developing ideas, and setting up our partnerships with schools.
