Churches are often on the frontline of supporting individuals in their local community who may be struggling with the impact of poverty, poor mental health, reduced social funding and economic hardship. Leaders of these churches work hard to provide space and support for those in their community who may need it, often with limited or no external support and development for their own leaders and teams, which can lead to restricted growth and effectiveness.
Lead Academy supports church leaders and their teams through their Learning Community programme which creates a safe, collaborative space for learning, experiencing new perspectives and planning strategically. Over an 18-month period, church leaders gain confidence to explore new ways to increase their missional effectiveness, helping those in need in their local communities to flourish.
