Disabled and non-disabled Malawian children deserve equal opportunities to thrive. We use inclusive sports and education to break barriers, build valuable life skills and foster social cohesion outside of competition. Double your donation to ensure every child is included on the pitch and in school.

Over 1.7 million Malawians live with a disability, enduring deep poverty on less than $1 a day. For disabled children, this reality blocks access to basic healthcare, inclusive education and recreational sports. The long-term impact is severe: they are denied the chance to develop essential communication, teamwork and independence skills alongside peers (and play). Without proper resources or training, parents are left unequipped to support them, trapping these children in a cycle of exclusion.

BPF bridges the inclusion gap by transforming local sports & education. We'll train 24 coaches in Special Olympics frameworks and 20 school teachers in inclusive sports-based learning, equipping them to support 350+ children with disabilities. Our approach delivers non-competitive, adapted sports tournaments that foster teamwork and communication. By up-skilling educators and coaches, we give marginalised young people the tools to thrive, directly advancing our mission of community empowerment.
