Families affected by childhood hydrocephalus often feel frightened, isolated and unsure where to turn. Children may face repeated brain surgery, emergency hospital admissions and lifelong health challenges. Parents and carers carry the responsibility of recognising symptoms quickly while supporting their child’s wellbeing. Many families struggle to access trusted information, practical support and connections with others who understand their journey.

Harry’s HAT provides one-to-one family support, peer connections, trusted information and child-friendly comfort resources. We support families online, by phone and in person, helping them feel informed, empowered and less alone. Funds raised will enable us to reach families from diagnosis onwards, providing practical and emotional support through hospital stays, surgery and the ongoing challenges of living with hydrocephalus.
