Help us to secure the future of Denville Hall through our campaign to mark our centenary, and build new assisted living accommodation for our community of veterans of the performing arts, many of whom struggle with low income - ensuring that they can age with dignity, creativity and connection.

Only 5% of performing arts professionals reach later life with adequate financial security. Freelance careers & low pay leave many without pensions or savings. Denville Hall provides residential, nursing and dementia care for retired performing arts professionals, subsidising fees so no eligible resident is excluded. However, there is a growing need for independent living options for older arts professionals seeking community, connection and light support before higher levels of care are needed.

Planning permission secured in 2023 will see us transform Denville Hall, with construction of sustainable assisted living accommodation for 17 residents, in two new buildings, as well as creation of a new restaurant, café, cinema, gym, rehabilitation studio, accessible gardens, covered walkways and improved facilities. This major redevelopment will help older performing arts professionals live independently for longer while enriching all residents' social, physical and emotional wellbeing.
