Diversity is key to building a rich, vibrant arts industry. We believe only talent and dedication should determine success but the rising costs of living and training are pushing low-income students out. Help us dismantle financial barriers for the next generation through our Scholarship Fund.

Each year, nearly one in two students request scholarship support to study at Mountview; nearly half of these have household incomes of less than £30k. At the moment, we can only help 1 in 6. Growing numbers of students are declining their places because of financial concerns. Financial barriers disproportionately affect people from Black, Global Majority and disabled communities, harming student diversity even further. Unless we act, we risk losing a generation of brilliant, diverse talent.

Scholarships turn a 'no' into a 'yes', giving talented students the confidence to accept their hard-won place at Mountview. Reaching our target will fund 10–15 scholarship awards for those studying any course in September 2027. Awards will be made according to individual need, prioritising those on the lowest incomes so we can support diversity at Mountview, students can dedicate themselves fully to their training and the next generation of artists can tell powerful, vital stories.
