1 in 450 children will receive a life changing childhood cancer diagnosis. Parents face emotional, financial and practical pressures whilst trying to support their child through intensive treatment. Siblings can feel isolated, and families often struggle to access timely, personalised support. Too many face this journey feeling overwhelmed and alone, with gaps in support that can have a lasting impact on their wellbeing.
Meredith’s Mission provides practical, emotional and therapeutic support to children with cancer and their families from diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond. We respond to each family’s individual needs through one-to-one support, wellbeing therapies, practical assistance, family activities and access to opportunities that reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and help families navigate childhood cancer together.
