Palestinian children in Silwan and Al-Issawiya, occupied East Jerusalem, are growing up under occupation and amid ongoing violence and uncertainty. Many have nowhere safe to play, while families often cannot afford summer activities. The stress of daily life leaves children with few opportunities to relax, make friends, express themselves or enjoy the support that every child needs to grow and thrive.

Palestine Play Projects will support the "I Love You Silwan 18" Summer Camp, delivered by Markaz Community Centre (MCC), providing over 900 Palestinian children with free recreational, educational and psychosocial activities. Through games, art, music, dabka, drama, sports and supervised trips, children will enjoy safe spaces where they can play, express themselves and develop confidence.
