This Christmas, The Rescue Hotel is raising vital funds for veterinary care at Cardiff Dog’s Home. Since 2020, we have proudly supported Cardiff Dog’s Home, operated by Cardiff Council, in a range of ways but most notably through funding vital veterinary care for each resident dog.

The Rescue Hotel supports each resident of Cardiff Dog's Home by funding vital veterinary care in our purpose-built vet suite, The Rescue Hotel Health Centre, a few yards away from the kennels. With around 600 stray dogs arriving each year, many need veterinary treatment before they can be put up for adoption. As more vulnerable dogs come into our care with complex rehabilitation needs, we need your support to help us continue to ensure every dog receives the care and second chance they deserve.
Your donation will help provide essential veterinary treatment for dogs arriving at Cardiff Dog’s Home, who through no fault of their own, have nowhere else to go. Each dog will continue to be assessed and cared for at The Rescue Hotel Health Centre and when required, we can arrange for more complex cases to be referred to specialists — for example, dogs with complex fractures or Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome. This gives every dog the best chance of recovery and a loving new home.
