People with a learning disability and/or autism are significantly more likely to experience homelessness - studies show the prevalence of autism among homeless people is 9 times(!) higher than among the general population (18% vs 2%). We support 196 tenants and we know that loneliness, boredom and anxiety are key challenges affecting their health and well-being and can cause problems with managing their home and maintaining their tenancy, subsequently increasing their risk of homelessness.

Our Peer-to-Peer Tenancy Support project creates a welcoming and supportive peer network to share experiences, learn from and reassure each other and develop a sense of community and belonging so they can feel at home in their home. It creates a safe space for tenants to talk openly about their needs and concerns, manage their expectations and better enables us to match the right people with the right accommodation so they can sustain their tenancy and thrive in a safe, settled home.
