Thousands of people worldwide lose limbs due to war, natural disasters, and disease. In many low-income and conflict-affected regions, access to prosthetics, rehabilitation, and psychological support is limited or unavailable. In Gaza alone, an estimated 5,000-6,000 people have undergone amputations, many still awaiting prosthetics and rehabilitation due to shortages of specialists, materials, and essential services.

Humanity & Inclusion delivers rehabilitation tailored to individual needs. The project will provide prosthetics, wheelchairs, crutches and other assistive devices; personalised physiotherapy, rehabilitation, mental health and psychosocial support; train local prosthetists, rehab specialists, and healthcare workers for sustainable services; use 3D printing and telerehabilitation to expand access and efficiency; and strengthen local health and rehabilitation systems for long-term self-sufficiency.
