To give every prisoner and prison officer in a Kent and Medway prison a gift of hope this Christmas.

Many prisoners in Kent and Medway face Christmas without receiving a card, gift, or visit. Separation from family, financial hardship, broken relationships, and isolation can leave people feeling forgotten when loneliness is at its greatest. This can damage wellbeing, mental health, and engagement with rehabilitation. Without positive support and human connection, many struggle to maintain hope and believe that change and successful reintegration are possible.
Our solution is to provide Christmas gift packs to prisoners across Kent and Medway who might otherwise receive nothing. These gifts offer a tangible reminder that they are not forgotten and help reduce feelings of isolation during a difficult time of year. The initiative also supports our delivery of Alpha courses in every prison, helping build trust, encourage positive relationships, and create opportunities for reflection, hope, and personal transformation.
