While many children in rural Kenya attend school each day, some of the most vulnerable are being left behind. Poverty, family instability, disability and a lack of educational resources prevent children from accessing or remaining in education. As their peers learn, develop skills and prepare for the future, these children miss vital opportunities, making it harder to escape poverty and reach their full potential.

SAFE International works alongside rural communities in Kenya to ensure every child can access quality education. Through our Family Hub model, we identify vulnerable children, remove barriers to school entry, and provide uniforms, learning materials, and ongoing support. We strengthen local schools and partner with families and teachers so children stay enrolled, learn well, and are not left behind.
