Beneficiaries
Abject poverty in rural areas of Uganda and Zambia. The suffering of women and girls.
We support the formation of women's groups within a community. Through a functional adult literacy programme. The women learn literacy and life skills which empowers them to improve themselves and their families. This raises their standard of living and impacts their community. They start projects of their choice such as creating schools, improving agriculture, animal husbandry, water supply, sanitation and income generating activities.
