People with Down syndrome and their families often face barriers to inclusion, independence and accessing meaningful opportunities within their communities. Many experience social isolation, limited access to tailored activities and ongoing challenges in finding support that enables them to build confidence, develop life skills and form lasting friendships. Demand for our services continues to grow, placing increasing pressure on our resources.
Down Syndrome Cheshire provides inclusive programmes that help children, young people and adults with Down syndrome develop confidence, independence and meaningful social connections. Funding raised through this campaign will enable us to deliver activities, family support, life skills programmes and community opportunities, ensuring more individuals can access the support they need throughout the year.
