Hate crime remains a growing issue across the UK. In the year ending March 2025, police recorded 137,550 hate crimes in England and Wales, with race hate crimes rising by 6% and religious hate crimes by 3%. Many victims face trauma, fear, and isolation, yet struggle to access support. Systems can feel complex and overwhelming, often forcing people to repeat painful experiences to multiple agencies. Without advocacy, many are left unsupported and unheard.

SARI provides specialist casework support for victims of hate crime and discrimination across Bristol and beyond. We offer practical advocacy, emotional support, guidance through reporting processes, and help accessing housing, legal, education, and health services. Our team works alongside clients to reduce the burden of navigating complex systems, ensuring they only need to tell their story once and are supported every step of the way.
