Too many children are starting school without the language, literacy and communication skills they need to thrive. Our creative workshops for pupils aged 7-11 years can change this. Support us to bring more schools to our immersive theatre venue, to fire up speaking skills and boost confidence.

Almost a third of five year olds start primary school without the language, communication and literacy skills needed. This rises to almost half (47%) of children from under-served communities (National Literacy Trust). Alongside this, school budgets are under more pressure than ever before, significantly reducing access to creative experiences.
Punchdrunk Enrichment will deliver 20 oracy workshops to up to 600 children from schools across London. These 1.5 hour workshops in our immersive theatre venue will help them to develop their oracy and listening skills, gain confidence in expressing ideas creatively and working collaboratively as part of a team. Schools with a high instance of Free School Meals and Pupil Premium will be prioritised to ensure we reach the children that need these workshops the most.
