Supporting people out of homelessness for good through the innovative and dignified model of personalised budgets (cash grants). In partnership with local charities and councils, we provide grants that empower people to overcome financial barriers preventing them from securing and sustaining a home.

Homelessness in England is at crisis level, with 325,690 households experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including a record 176,130 children. This crisis extends beyond rough sleeping. It’s families in temporary accommodation, people sofa surfing and those at imminent risk of losing their home. And councils spend over £2.3 billion a year on temporary accommodation, yet financial barriers continue to prevent many people from securing and sustaining a stable home.
Greater Change supports people out of homelessness with dignity by giving them a personalised budget that helps them to move forward. Working with frontline charities and support workers, clients tell us what they need, we listen and fund it. Grants provide people with rent deposits, vital furnishings, Identity Documents, access to education, training and employment, mental health, or domestic violence services - anything they need to overcome the barriers that keep them in homelessness.
